History lesson

America is the wealthiest.  America is the most powerful.  America has the greatest military.

America rules the world.

The reason isn’t because people in America work harder than everyone else in the world.  It’s not because Americans are necessarily smarter.   Nor is it because an unearthly being has ‘chosen’ us to have a greater lives than others in the world.  America is all of the things above because of one simple thing.  We had a head start over the rest of the world.  We invented factories.

Since then however, the rest of the world has been catching up.  It is inevitable that one day, someone, some county, will surpass us.

There are many who wish to.  And there is at least one country that is very close.  And if we, the human race, do not change how we do things, the inevitable confrontation will result in a global nuclear war.

China has been busy.

During the past 30 years, Chin has become the world manufacturing powerhouse.  China has also built the world second largest and most advanced military, second to us of course (we hope).  China has also built many military islands in the south pacific.  These island military bases can also be viewed as stationary aircraft carriers.  The nation of China has been focused on a single unified goal.  While the US, during that time, has been playing political ‘ping pong’ between the democrats and Republicans, each doing their best to un-ravel and erase everything that the previous administration did before it.

Instead of working toward a single goal, like just about every other nation on earth has been, we have beed at best standing still, but in many respects going backward.  Our government does not treat ‘government’ as a race, passing the batting from one leader to the next.  Out government cancels the entire race and starts a new one with each change of administrations.  Competing with the rest of the world this way will inevitably lead to our failure, or more to the point, another country’s dominance.  China’s dominance.  China wants to rule the world.  America’s population wants to argue amongst itself.
